She has claimed hearts with her skills of Business Entrepreneurship, Social service and Justice, Public Relation Event along with Management and Interior Designing.
Aruna Purohit is a Law Graduate from Nagpur University and Powerful Entrepreneur, handling 160 female Swachhata doots and 200 male swachhata doots in her Organisation and is managing many such organizations.
Aruna S Purohit, The Woman Entrepreneur and Role Icon of Maharashtra. Whether its her participation in “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan” which has rendered Chandrapur as an example to emulate in the state of Maharashtra or her Solid Waste Management endeavor that has successfully employed 400 people and kindled fires (employment and thereby food and income) for this section of the population, she is the “Driving Force” on the social, economical and business front in Nagpur.
On the social front and her contribution to society, Aruna has taken the lead in promoting programmes on feminine hygiene, a neglected area in many urban and rural areas of India. She has organized Medical camps in the interiors of Maharashtra where paucity of doctors had rendered population susceptible to vagaries of nature and disease. In urban areas , wherein, road safety presented a challenge to lives of citizens, Aruna stepped in to organize workshops to propagate lessons to youngsters on rash driving.
When one talks of leadership qualities, can EQ- Emotional Quotient be far behind? Well, Aruna has taken this EQ to cultivate amongst others sensitivity and pride in pets by organizing and encouraging “Pet Shows”. A wholesome woman- Can culture and family be far behind? Aruna has upheld cultural values of Indian festivals at her home and in society. And because of her consistent efforts, her son was selected on scholarship in one of the deemed universities of the United States of America.
Acclaimed for her unique and vivid business concepts this lady entrepreneur has another facet to her life story. “Shabari” the first departmental store started in Nagpur was efficiently managed by Aruna. Along with maintaining her career graph she has passionately bestowed her time and energy for the welfare of the female sector. She is associated with Silver Edge Utopian Pvt Ltd and WENI Foundation which chiefly focusses on feminine hygiene and woman empowerment respectively. She is also the President of the IICIF Chamber which works for trade and business development in all sectors globally.
Apart from her busy and bustling career she has been blessed with a beautiful joint family consisting of her husband, her two sons, along with her both in-laws. Her Grand Father in Law was Zilla Sangha Chalak at Hingoli. Her Family belongs to Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh, and so many of her close relatives are actively working in RSS as Pracharaks and Swayamsevaks with given responsibilities.
Her love for the agriculture and collection of Indian artifacts can be seen sprawled all over the space of her home and office which is quite exquisite and impressive.
Hats off to the WOMAN- WIFE, MOTHER, DAUGHTER-IN-LAW, ENTREPRENUER, SOCIAL WORKER, A TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADER AND A COMPASSIONATE PERSON. Aruna- a woman who dons multiple hats.

आकाशवाणी नागपूरच्या दृष्टिक्षेप या कार्यक्रमात गुरुपौर्णिमेच्या पावन पर्वावर माझी आभाराणी पटवर्धन यांनी मुलाखत घेतली. मी ही गुरूदक्षिणा माझ्या गुरूंना अर्पण करते आणि या मुलाखतीसाठी ज्यांनी ज्यांनी परिश्रम घेतले त्यांचे आभार मानते.
लॉकडाऊन काळात सामाजिक कार्यकर्ती व उद्योजक Aruna Purohit यांच्या नेतृत्वात चांगुलपणाचीचळवळ अंतर्गत Annakshetra फाउंडेशन गरजूंच्या मदतीला धावून गेले. मागील चार महिन्यांपासून सातत्याने पोलिस, आशा वर्कर्स, स्वच्छता दूत, झोपडपट्टीतील लोकांना Immunity Booster प्रोटीन बिस्कीट, सोयामिल्कचे वाटप करण्यात आले. लहान मुलांना गेम्स आणि जेम्स वाटून त्यांच्याही चेहे-यावर आनंद फुलवला गेला. आता Annakshetra फाउंडेशन क्वारंटाईन सेंटर्समध्ये जाऊन कोरोनाग्रस्त रुग्णांना गरम दूध, चहा, कॉफी, कोल्ड कॉफी, रेडी मिक्स इत्यादींचे वितरण करीत आहे. सोमवारी सिम्बायसिस, पाचपावली, रामदेवबाबा कॉलेज, लॉ कॉलज होस्टेल, रवीभवन, आमदार निवास, राज नगर येथील क्वारंटाईन सेंटरमधील कोविडग्रस्तांमधील नैराश्य घालवून त्यांच्यात परत एकदा नवा उत्साह, नवी उर्जा भरण्याचा प्रयत्न करण्यात आला.
Annakshetra फाउंडेशनच्या माध्यमातून रायपूर इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल सायन्स मतिमंद आश्रमशाळेतील लोकांना चहा पॅकेट्सचे वितरण केले. #चांगुलपणाचीचळवळ अंतर्गत #Annakshetra फाउंडेशन रायपूर शाखेचे डॉ. नवीनचंद्र कावरे यांनी इन्स्टिट्यूटचे संचालक डॉ. राजेश रामटेके यांच्या हाती हे पॅकेट्स सुपूर्द केले. डॉ. राहूल केवल कुमार, डॉ. गंभीर सिंग, डॉ. विकल्प वासनिक यांचीही यावेळी उपस्थिती होती.

In this difficult time of Pandemics our Locality children very much unhappy. But just to bring smile on little faces Vidarbha Pride Aruna Purohit started morning activities like self defence techniques and COVID awareness programmes with due precautions, social distancing and all SOP’s Distribution of #Hershey energy drink, soya milk and cookies 🍪 was main attraction for little kids.
